Where are the macanese?

The Chinese New Year has passed a week ago. I realised the welcoming to the Year of the Tiger 2010 was a ROAR! I had fun throughout the week. Happy Chinese New Year All! Went to Macau, what I call the gamblers' paradise. Macau was a Portugese colony and both the first and last European one in China. There's not much site-seeing there. You can visit all its attractions in a day! At almost every corner of the city you find casinos. And every casino has its own hotel! There weren't many people in the streets. The guess was everyone were inside the casinos. Of course, I am not old enough to enter one. The hotels there were huge and everyday they have magnificent performances mainly to attract more casino customers. Tried the mouth-watering Portugese egg tarts and some local snack which was pork sandwiched between two burger buns. I also saw the Guinness World Record holder for card-stacking, Bryan Berg (bet you never heard of him). He was making a model of The Venetian Macau in the hotel with freestanding playing cards. No glue, tapes or tricks; that's what they said. Came back and it was school exam period...

Late for Twenty Ten

Hey Happy 2010 New Year! I know it's a little bit late but better late than never. A decade has past and I realise how much we all change through the years and how foolish I was before. Feel like making a change. New year's resolutions? I have a few and will try to to accomplish all of it. Form 4 life is really hectic. I have seriously a lot of subjects to take this year and need to be more active in clubs and societies. It's only like a month since schooling started and it's getting really crazy.

PESTA is coming in June! Lots of preparation. Just had a camp last week. Everyone is giving their best for this event especially the form 1's. Good Job! Really hope that my juniors can learn and improve real quick. Practice more if you're reading this! Bye for now...

Selvin the Hero!

Wow the Junior Awards Camp was really FUN! Seriously. For seniors you should try. I went to the camp as only a helper! :D With Johnny and Andy! The camp was really different from the Senior Band Camp. I too learned something from the camp although I was never a BB Junior...The good thing was the activities were arranged well and fun. We had tea time. :D Bought groceries and cooked our own dinner. Singing around the Campfire. Hiking in the morning. My team was 'Stedfast' with the most members. Woah! We won first-runner up among three other groups at the end of the camp!
I noticed that officers can actually trust juniors to follow instruction and even brought them down to Petaling Street to buy groceries. Like 30+ juniors all together. That's a thing that seniors still can't do. LOL.
Anyway we had FUN.

Camp Cramp

Band Camp last month? Hmm... In my opinion I think that it was not fun :(
Don't know who planned it but I thought that band camp used to be a lot better than this one.
The schedule for this camp was very tight and repetitive. No time to rest and got bored of it. No station games, night games, water games or water night games. The only thing good was the camp went kind of slow and relaxed. No rush the whole time. Sadly I didn't learn much this camp. I don't know but this is what I feel. Wish that band camp was as fun as before...

Kids

Seeing my niece and nephew performing during their Kindergarden Awards Day made me remember the fun memories of being a kid. Good times...I remember the freedom, the innocence, it was like the world is yours and not to forget giving free kisses and nobody would say anything. The simplest reason is 'I'm a kid'. Being a kid was the time I made really good friends. I wasn't like what I am today. I admit that I was a super shy boy until my friends made me the microphone today. Sadly I lost contact with them especially my kindergarden friends; didn't know where they all go. It was also the time older people adore your cuteness and innocence. Still remember the head pats by the employees every time my family and I went for 'Roti Canai' in the morning. :D Those were the days. Today I meet all sorts of people and the problem is that it is harder to make true friends now and that helping and volunteering makes you being call names which demotivates you to do so T.T. Whether we like it or not we have to move on and look forward.

Not Hamsters!

Hey!
Before I start off I just want to say thank you to all your wishes in school or in facebook or wherever on my birthday which was two weeks ago. I really appreciate all of them!

THANK YOU guys!

Recently I watched some animated films, they are 'G-Force' and 'Monsters VS. Aliens'. Haha and it isn't a crime to watch cartoons even if you're not a kid anymore! :D

So about 'G-force', I actually expected the film to be better. I guess the whole story was just too short sadly. The story was about two guinea pigs who were trained to be spies and do what spies do, solve crimes. It actually started kind of low and little action. I kind of got bored of the transformer-like machines which were the villians in the story. The story ended with a twist which was interesting and it has a valuable theme and value. So for 'G-Force', I guess 6/10.

For the film 'Monsters VS. Aliens', it was actually something very original and was better than expected :) . It was about a lady who turned into a 'giant' and loses here family, friends and her life. When she was captured and kept with other monsters. The were given the chance to free themselves if they could stop the alien invasion. The storyline was interesting and well-told. It has taught a great value which is 'never judge a book by its cover'. I guess I'll give a 7.5/10

So results...

Time to Change?

Hey BIG exam is finally over! Results only come in about 2 months Yay! Here comes the days where there’s nothing else to do… Year by year I wasted my holidays in front of the computer and in my house doing nothing. I really wanna spend this holiday to the fullest. I’ve planned activities like going to camps, sleeping, computer games and sleeping. Well not exactly. So I wanna ask you guys to leave a suggestion of what sort of activities I should do? Tell me anything or whatever random stuff before I die of boredom. By the way boredom looks like this:

1:26 is the best part =D Enjoy your holidays and good luck for those having exams!

SPONGEBOB'!’ shouted Danny.
